The restaurant looked really nice, and the food was good but the service honestly made us not want to come back. When we walked in, we said “hello” and got no response. During our meal we said “thank you” a few times and were completely ignored. When we left, we said “bye, thank you” and still didn’t get a single word back. We even left a tip because we came in about an hour before closing and appreciated that they were still serving us. I understand not everyone speaks English, and that’s completely okay. But if you’re working in a restaurant, knowing a few basic words like “hello,” “thank you,” or “bye” can make customers feel welcome.

This new management sucks! This small restaurant used to be great: friendly atmosphere, positive attitude from the people who worked there, and amazing food. Now you cannot talk to anyone anymore, you have to order your food from a machine, the owner sees you struggling with the machine but doesn’t say hello and doesn’t offer to help. If you liked this place like we did before, don’t go there anymore; the Got Rice we knew is gone!

Decent American fried rice taste - HOWEVER - skimpy “As Hell” with proteins. I ordered 1 shrimp & chicken fried rice to go. Was charged extra $15+ for 2 proteins. Got home - had about 4 small shrimp chopped in half (little nubs included). About 3 slivers of the palest chicken I’ve ever seen. About 1 inch slivers. I ended up grilling garlic shrimp to add to rice, onions (chopped large) and a few bean sprouts. SAD! Cheaters!

Well I figured I’d give this place a try being one of the higher scores for reviews…. I ordered to go. Kiosk to order wasn’t that bad. I ordered a boneless spare rib combo with white rice. For the amount of money that I spent and the amount of food that I received really irked me. To the point where I feel like I’m robbed. I decide to eat and hope that it’ll taste good at least. Well it tasted horrible. Four different pieces of meat had bone in it or were bones entirely, I asked for well done and it was not, the rice tasted like it was a day old. It almost had that fishy sushi flavor to it. The pork eggroll had no pork in it. I really regret choosing to go here and give this place a try.If I could stop anybody else for making a mistake please please listen to this review. It was absolutely horrible. A little over $30 plus tax with tip for two eggrolls, a can of soda and this combo. I added duck sauce to the white rice to try to help with the taste I’ll not be going back here ever again!

I’ve come to “Got rice”, after a massage next door on numerous occasions and have always had great food. I’m particularly fond of the soup bowls especially on these cooler nights. The portions are large and IMO worth the 15$ for a large soup. You have to add your own extra flavors to make it fit you as the soup comes out tasty but bland broth, noodles, and whatever meat u decide to add. The experimentation making it your own is part of the adventure.
